Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship Program
General Goals and Objectives
The objective of this three-year fellowship training program is to provide experience and instruction, ensuring development of special competence in the management of critically ill neonates and the development of future academic neonatologists, recognizing the diverse roles they now play in medicine. The specific objectives are described in details in the Program's Goals and Objectives. These objectives incorporate into the curriculum mastery of each of the six general competencies identified by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) including medical knowledge, patient care, professionalism, interpersonal and communication skills, practice-based learning and improvement, and systems-based practice.
